Kaolin, as an excellent industrial mineral, is widely used in ceramics, paper making, rubber, plastics, building materials, paint, petrochemical and so on, especially in ceramic industry. Kaolin can be used as ceramic blank and glaze as well.Both the ceramic industry and other industrial sectors have certain requirements for the whiteness of kaolin. The kaolin produced in nature often affects its natural whiteness because of some organic matter and minerals such as iron, titanium, manganese and so on. The iron impurity in kaolin not only affects the color of ceramic products after burning, but also seriously affects the dielectric properties and chemical stability of ceramic products.
Magnetic separator is mainly used in magnetite beneficiation process, according to the different ore materials, equipped with magnetic separator, the intensity range is relatively wide, from 1000GS to 10000GS (Gao Tidu), while used in iron and steel industry mining process.
After grinding, the material is separated by a classifier (or high frequency sieve), and the ore fines are recycled into a magnetic separator (roughing, sweeping and sorting), and the wet fine powder is dried by a pressure filter (water at 7-9%). Slag or recovered by recycling machine, or directly discharged into tailings dam.
