PTMS magnetic separator has the technical advantages in the flotation separation of potassium alspar quartz. This method of potassium feldspar flotation under the condition of neutral pH value can achieve the effective separation of potassium feldspar and quartz under the condition of neutral pH value. It is less corrosive to the flotation equipment and less pollution to the environment, and the potassium feldspar concentrate grade and recovery is high.
Thus, the problems of low grade, high impurity content and low flotation recovery rate of potassium feldspar concentrate in the separation process of potassium feldspar and quartz by PTMS magnetic separator under the condition of neutral pH value are solved. It can effectively develop and utilize potassium alspar raw ore with k2O content of 7 ~ 10%, and obtain K2O content of 10 ~ 14%. Potassium and sodium feldspar concentrate with recovery rate of 70 ~ 88% meets the demand of potash feldspar concentrate in ceramic industry.
