At present, the magnetic field strength optimization of the magnetic separator has made progress in many aspects. In recent years, some new permanent magnet materials are emerging and have been applied to the field of magnetic separator.
A new rare earth permanent magnet material is applied to the permanent magnet cylinder type PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR. This material has higher magnetic energy product and coercivity than conventional NdFeB permanent magnets. It not only achieved good results in the separation of ilmenite, but also provides a reference for the separation of other similar minerals, showing the importance of magnetic field strength optimization in improving the comprehensive performance of the magnetic separator.
The application of rare earth permanent magnet material to the magnetic system structure of PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR can significantly improve the magnetic field strength without changing the overall size of the magnetic separator. In the sorting test of an iron ore, the separation efficiency of this new permanent magnet material is increased by about 20% compared with that of the conventional magnetic separator, and the magnetic field strength is increased by about 30%.
