PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR has two kinds of permanent magnet and electromagnetic. It is mainly used in ferrous metal mines to discard a large amount of waste rock before ore selection, so as to improve the grade of raw ore, increase the processing capacity and save energy. Because of its simple structure, reliable operation and energy saving, it is widely used and has been listed as a ministerial standard, and its model is from CT-66 to CT-816, that is, the barrel size DXL=630×600 to 800×1600.
PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR has a tendency to develop in the direction of large scale and high field strength. In order to improve the field strength of the permanent magnet drum, the magnetic pole material was changed from Ming ferrite to cupric permanent magnet alloy, and the magnetic pole gap was changed from no filling material to cupric filling.
At present, the MAGNETIC drum of PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR uses the suction method to select the magnetic ore. When the feeding layer is thicker, the magnetic ore on the top is easy to enter the tailings due to the small magnetic force, so that its grade is increased. The magnetic system is located above the sorting point and is mainly used to select magnetic materials. The permanent magnet system is side by side with the electromagnetic system, which is mainly used to keep magnetic materials on the surface of the cylinder and be transported to the weak magnetic field area with the rotation of the cylinder.
