Every substance is made up of molecules, which are made up of atoms. The electrons outside the nucleus are constantly doing orbital motion and spin motion, as well as the spin of the nucleus, which form a microscopic electric current. Each microscopic current is equivalent to a tiny current-carrying coil, and thus has a certain magnetic moment. The magnetic moment of the nucleus of most matter is much smaller than the magnetic moment of the electron and is negligible. PTMS magnetic separators can remove iron (FE2O3) from minerals.
The magnetic properties of matter are mainly based on the magnetic moments of electrons, especially their spin magnetic moments. Ferromagnetic material is obviously different from diamagnetic material and paramagnetic material, so different PTMS magnetic separators are selected. A class of crystalline substances such as iron, cobalt, nickel and some of their alloys, as well as some alloys of manganese and chromium, are strongly magnetized even under the action of a weaker external magnetic field, and such substances are called ferromagnetic substances.
The magnetization of a substance is due to the arrangement of the magnetic moments of the atoms inside the substance according to the direction of the magnetic field under the action of the external magnetic field of the PTMS magnetic separator. This is the source and nature of magnetization of matter.
