The magnetic system of PTMS Electromagnetic Separator is made of high quality ferrite material or combined with rare earth magnetic steel. The average magnetic induction intensity of the cylinder is 100 ~ 600mT. According to the needs of users, it can provide a variety of different surface strength magnetic separation such as down-current, semi-counter-current, counter-current type. This product has the advantages of simple structure, large processing capacity, convenient operation and easy maintenance.
PTMS Electromagnetic Separator is suitable for wet magnetic separation of magnetite, pyrrhotite, calcinated ore, ilmenite and other materials with particle size below 3mm. It is also used for iron removal of coal, non-metallic ore, building materials and other materials.
When materials enter the heterogeneous magnetic field of PTMS Electromagnetic Separator, the particles are subjected to both magnetic force and resistance. The resistance is the combined force of gravity, motion inertia force and friction force. For highly magnetic particles, the magnetic force exceeds the resistance; for weakly magnetic or non-magnetic particles, the magnetic force is weaker than the resistance. The resultant force of the two determines the trajectory of the particles, the strong dominant particles are called magnetic products, and the resistance dominant particles become non-magnetic products.
