A "robust and refined" development path is emerging as the new paradigm for breakthroughs in high-field permanent magnet PTMS ELECTROMAGNETIC SEPARATOR technology. Traditional electromagnetic devices generate magnetic fields through Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, which requires current to flow through coils. This process inevitably leads to Joule heat dissipation (P=I²R). High-field permanent magnet PTMS ELECTROMAGNETIC SEPARATOR technology fundamentally revolutionizes this conventional approach.
Take the widely used 1.2-meter electromagnetic separator in mining as an example. With a rated power of 55 kW, it consumes over 400,000 kWh annually – equivalent to the carbon emissions from 300 tons of standard coal. To keep coil temperatures below 120°℃, a complex water-cooling system is required, adding 15% to energy consumption and maintenance costs. High-field permanent magnet PTMS ELECTROMAGNETIC SEPARATOR technology can effectively address these challenges.
Permanent magnets generate magnetic fields through the orderly arrangement of atomic magnetic moments within their materials, requiring no continuous power supply and only consuming a one-time electrical charge during magnetization. Test data shows that a 12,000 Gauss permanent magnet PTMS ELECTROMAGNETIC SEPARATOR with equivalent processing capacity operates at just 2.5kW (primarily for drum drive and control systems), achieving over 95% energy efficiency and reducing annual carbon dioxide emissions by up to 300 tons.
