PTMS magnetic separator works at appropriate intervals. The distance between the bottom plate and the roll is too large, the total square flow is large, which is conducive to improving the working ability. But the roller surface magnetic induction intensity is not good, the tailings grade is high, the utilization rate of metal materials is low. When the tailings become black workshop, the magnetic field around the bottom floor is large, the tailings grade is low, the utilization rate is high, but the concentrate grade is low.
Sometimes the PTMS magnetic separator drum drives the water, that is, the workshop is small, the water flow in the indoor square is large, and the magnetic ore particles cannot keep up with the appropriate distance between the drum surface backboard and the tube plate. The distance between installation and maintenance must be maintained according to actual production conditions and tests conducted by various enterprises. Separation concentration value and roll size: Pulp concentration value determines pulp flow at a specific amount of ore. The selected concentration value is large, the mine water velocity is slow, and the friction resistance to the mine movement is large.
Mechanical equipment can easily mix concentrate with waste rock, thus reducing concentrate grade. In addition, when the water flow is low, the magnetic ore particles can fully survive in the PTMS magnetic separator scanning selection area, the tailings grade is low, the metal material utilization rate is high, and the selective component concentration is low. Large water flow to ore, high grade of concentrate and tailings, low utilization rate. The appropriate concentration of separation shall be determined according to the work, i.e. my production indicators and production experiments.
