First loosen the two ends of the PTMS magnetic separator. There is a 32mm diameter adjustment hole on the central shaft without one end of the motor, which can be used to adjust the position of the magnetic pole with a crowbar. Use an arrow carved on one end of the central axis to determine the approximate position of the magnetic pole. A small iron nail is slid down from the outlet side of the magnetic concentrate along the surface of the magnetic cylinder. The iron nail will be adsorbed at the center line of the last magnetic pole (i.e., the magnetic pole of the concentrate discharge end).
After locating the centre line of the last magnetic pole, adjust (rotate) the pole so that the nail is approximately 50 mm above the height of the concentrate discharge lip (i.e. the magnetic concentrate discharge weir). Lock this position and re-tighten the strong bolts at both ends of the central shaft. The adjusted PTMS magnetic separator should produce satisfactory magnetic separation effect.
Some PTMS magnetic separator models are equipped with an adjusting arm. The steps to adjust magnetic declination are to ensure that the regulating arm is closely connected with the drum shaft before adjustment and that there is no relative movement between the two during operation. When adjusting, loosen both ends of the central shaft first, turn the nut on the UU-type screw buckle, and drive the roller shaft to rotate through the connecting arm;
