This method affects the distribution and strength of the magnetic field by adjusting the structural parameters of the magnetic poles.
By changing the width gap ratio of the magnetic pole, the density of the magnetic field can be adjusted, thus affecting the distribution of the magnetic field strength on the surface of the cylinder magnetic separator, so that the magnetic field strength is more uniform or enhanced in a specific area, so as to improve the separation ability of magnetic minerals. In practice, this optimization method can improve the sorting efficiency of the magnetic separator.
When treating some less magnetic minerals, magnetic minerals can be separated from nonmagnetic minerals more accurately by optimizing the magnetic field strength. At the same time, it can also reduce the mineral misselection caused by uneven magnetic field and improve the quality of products. In addition, the optimized permanent magnet cartridge may also reduce the energy consumption, because the reasonable distribution of magnetic field strength can enable the magnetic separator to achieve better separation effect under lower energy consumption.
