PTMS magnetic separator is widely used for the selection of different types and different particle sizes of magnetite, vanadium titanium magnetite and calcined magnetite. While improving the grade of concentrate, it can also reduce the size of the screen in the coarse and fine sift-magnetic separation process, thereby improving the grinding capacity and reducing energy consumption. Common demagnetizers are pulp demagnetizers and block demagnetizers.
Among them, PTMS magnetic separator is the most used. At present, it is electromagnetic. It can be divided into power frequency (i.e. 50Hz), medium frequency, pulse, harmonic wave type and so on from the nature of excitation current. It can generally replace the two and three selections of the traditional magnetic separator and the magnetic dewatering tank operation, and has multiple effects of improving quality, reducing consumption and simplifying the process.
PTMS magnetic separator is used in the sorting operation of the concentrator: instead of the sorting operation of the original process of the concentrator, such as magnetic separation and magnetic dewatering operation, it can improve the grade of the concentrate to different degrees. Only the middle ore that accounts for 10%-20% of the yield of the magnetic screen sorting operation is re-grinding and re-sorting. The typical process flow is as follows: magnetic separation of coarse concentrate - magnetic sieve separation - iron concentrate - re-grinding and re-sorting of remaining medium ore - concentrate.
