The vertical ring high gradient PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR is mainly composed of a pulsating structure, an exciting coil, an iron yoke, a rotating ring, a variety of hoppers and a water hopper. A round rod or steel plate mesh made of magnetic conductive stainless steel is used as a magnetic medium. The excitation coil generates an induced magnetic field through direct current in the sorting area, and the magnetic medium surface in the sorting area generates a non-uniform magnetic field, that is, a high gradient magnetic field.
The rotating ring is rotated clockwise, and the MAGNETIC medium is continuously sent into and transported out of PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR. The pulp is fed through the feed bucket and flows through the swivel along the gap in the upper yoke. The magnetic particles in the pulp are adsorbed on the surface of the medium, carried by the rotating ring to the top non-magnetic field area, and washed into the concentrate hopper by the washing water. Under the action of gravity and fluctuating fluid force, the non-magnetic particles pass through the magnetic medium pile and flow into the tailings bucket along the gap of the lower iron yoke.
As a result, particles that should enter the return sand enter the spiral PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR with the magnetic group, while the magnetic group that should enter the screen enters the screen, which reduces the classification efficiency. In severe cases, the spiral classifier may not return sand, in which case a demagnetizer must be used to eliminate magnetic agglomeration.
