In order to avoid metal entering PTMS vertical grinding machine causing a sensation, iron removal machine is installed above the feeding belt into the vertical grinding machine. The iron removing device is a suspended self-discharging PTMS magnetic separator. The iron removal machine is operated manually on site. Before starting the vertical mill, the iron removal machine is started on site. When the vertical mill is working, the DC excitation circuit of the iron removal machine is always connected to iron removal, and the dump belt is continuously transformed for iron unloading.
PTMS magnetic separator: The driving power of the dump belt is 6kW. According to the power factor 0.8, the daily power consumption is 115.2kWho. It is found that when there is no metal adsorption on the iron removal equipment, the dump belt still works continuously, which forms unnecessary waste to the production. To solve this problem, the electric control system of iron removal machine was improved.
It is controlled by PLC, and the start time and change time of the dump belt are set by the central control accounting machine. When the vertical mill works, the PTMS magnetic separator DC excitation circuit is always connected to remove iron. The dump belt works for 1 minute every 11 minutes and disconnects iron for 1 time.
