Ore particle shape. Most of the material particles treated on the sieve of PTMS magnetic separator are non-spherical. When the spherical particles pass with equal probability in all directions, the irregularly shaped particles near the sieve must pass through the sieve in a certain direction. Elongated and plate-like particles have smaller cross-sectional areas in one direction and larger cross-sectional areas in the other. As a result, particle screening efficiency is reduced for highly irregular shapes.
High frequency alternating magnetic field is generated on the surface of the magnetic roller when the eddy current metal separator is operated. When the conductive non-ferrous metal through the magnetic field, induced vortex current in the non-ferrous metal, and the vortex current itself produces magnetic field in the opposite direction to the original magnetic field, and non-ferrous metal due to the magnetic field displacement force, metal in its direction of transport forward impulse, complete the separation with other non-metallic materials, to achieve the purpose of sorting.
