But speed up, throw out a lot of tailings, tailings taste is also improved; On the contrary, by reducing the rotational speed, the effect is just the opposite, the grade of concentrate and tailings will be reduced.
The adjustment of baffle mainly refers to the upper and lower tailings baffle of dry PTMS magnetic separator. The adjustment of the position of the baffle can control the grade of tailings. The closer the baffle is to the shell, the more tailings, the higher the taste of tailings. At the same time, the amount of ore will be reduced correspondingly, and the grade of ore will be improved. The further the baffle is from the surface of the cylinder, the opposite effect is achieved.
Of course, the change of ore content and ore grade will inevitably affect the concentrate grade. For example, when the ore content in the upper roll of PTMS magnetic separator is small and the taste is high, the concentrate grade in the lower roll is also easy to improve, which is especially obvious when processing coarse ore.
