When the magnetic field strength and magnetic field force are greater than 0.165T, the grade of coarse concentrate and coarse ore is lower. With the increase of cylinder rotation speed, the grade of coarse concentrate and concentrate is obviously increased. This is because when the magnetic field intensity and magnetic field force are high, the magnetic aggregates contain more gangue particles, resulting in low coarse ore grade. Increasing the rotating speed of PTMS magnetic separator cylinder is conducive to reducing the gangue particles entrainment by magnetic aggregates.
The effectiveness of improving the rotating speed of the cylindrical PTMS magnetic separator should be tested under higher magnetic field strength and field force, or under field conditions. When the drum magnetic separator with high magnetic field strength and magnetic field force is used in the concentrator, it is more significant to improve the concentrate grade by increasing the drum speed.
PTMS magnetic separator is widely used for the selection of different types and different particle sizes of magnetite, vanadium titanium magnetite and calcined magnetite. While improving the grade of concentrate, it can also reduce the size of the screen in the coarse and fine sift-magnetic separation process, thereby improving the grinding capacity and reducing energy consumption. It can generally replace the two and three selections of the original magnetic separator and the magnetic dewatering tank operation, with multiple effects of improving quality, reducing consumption and simplifying the process.
