The electrical control box is the accessory equipment of PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR. The magnetic system is composed of "mountain" shaped electromagnet and rotating steel disc. The disc is like a saucer with sharp teeth and its diameter is about half larger than the width of the feeding belt. The pole distance between the disc and the electromagnet can be adjusted by the hand wheel (adjustment range 0 ~ 20mm).
The separation process of disc PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR is relatively simple. The selected ore enters the permanent magnet separator through the lower part of the feed tank. The strong magnetic minerals are sorted out, and the rest fall into the head-end ore bucket through the chute. The material on the screen (small amount) is discharged from the side of the screen frame to other processes,
The underscreen material (weak MAGNETIC mineral) is sent to the strong magnetic area under the PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR of the rotating disk by the feeding plate for sorting. The minerals absorbed on the disk are taken to the weak magnetic area on the side. The minerals fall into the ore receiving bucket on both sides under the action of gravity and centrifugal force. After four times sorting by the disk, the non-magnetic minerals are fed into the receiving bucket of the tailings along the feed plate.
