The particle size of ore is an important factor affecting the effect of PTMS Electromagnetic Separator magnetic separation. If the particle size of ore is small, it indicates that the degree of monomer dissociation is high, and a better separation index can be obtained. If the grain size is large or coarse, it means that the mineral monomer is not sufficient, some of the gangue will still be combined with the magnetic particles, and the gangue with magnetic minerals will also be selected, thus affecting the sorting efficiency.
The sorting concentration determines the slurry flow rate of a certain ore volume and affects the sorting time of ore particles. High concentration, slow flow rate, high resistance, easy to mix with gangue in concentrate, reduce the quality of concentrate, but due to the long separation time, the recovery rate is beneficial. At low concentrations, although the concentrate quality may be better, the PTMS Electromagnetic Separator treatment amount may be affected, and a balance needs to be sought to ensure the sorting efficiency.
The size of the work gap will affect the effect of PTMS Electromagnetic Separator sorting. The large gap and the flow of the slurry are also large, which is conducive to improving the treatment capacity. However, due to the distance from the surface of the cylinder and the magnetic field strength is low, it will increase the grade of the tailings and reduce the recovery rate of the metal. Too small the gap may affect the slurry flow and treatment capacity, so the working gap needs to be set reasonably.
