The advanced PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR model incorporates an automated backflush system that periodically activates pneumatic actuators to temporarily withdraw magnetic rods from the magnetic field zone. This mechanism, combined with a spray nozzle assembly, enables continuous slag clearance through fully automated operation, achieving truly unmanned maintenance. To address the magnetic field attenuation issue inherent in traditional iron removers within long cylindrical vessels, engineers have implemented magnetic sleeve reinforcement technology.
The tube is constructed from electrician's pure iron or silicon steel sheets, fixed to the upper cover and extending axially toward the bottom to form a closed magnetic circuit. When the permanent magnet rod operates, its generated magnetic flux lines are effectively guided by the magnetic-conducting sleeve and concentrated throughout the entire cavity. This significantly enhances the magnetic field gradient at the bottom of the PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR, enabling effective capture of weakly magnetic particles as small as 1-5 μm in size.
Experimental data show that under the same flow condition, the PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR iron removal rate can be increased by more than 35% with the installation of magnetic guide sleeve, and the residual iron content is reduced from the original 8 ppm to less than 2 ppm, which meets the requirements of high-end ceramics, lithium battery diaphragm and other products which are extremely sensitive to iron impurities.
