The important factor affecting the effect of PTMS Magnetic Separator is the feed particle size. For most ores, the thickness of ore feed particle indicates the separation degree of ore monomer, namely the degree of separation of magnetic ore particle and gangue particle. If the granularity is small, it indicates that the separation degree of mineral monomer is high and satisfactory separation index can be obtained.
If the particle size of the ore is coarse, it means that the mineral is not fully dissociated, and the separation degree of monomer is not high. On the contrary, there are more connected bodies, that is, magnetic particles and gangue are still a considerable part of together. Due to its considerable magnetism, the separation of a considerable part can be selected, so that the grade of the concentrate is reduced. Therefore, it is required that the mineral added to PTMS Magnetic Separator should fully achieve monomer separation.
For the ore with coarse dissemination size, as long as the mineral and gangue have reached monomer separation, the particle size is too fine. Although the particle size of such ore is coarse sometimes, the PTMS Magnetic Separator quality is not low. The main reason is that the particle size of the ore is coarse and the useful mineral is separated from the gangue by grinding to the extent.
