Under the action of the magnetic field of PTMS magnetic separator, magnetic clusters are generated, which move towards the magnetic pole in the pulp under the action of magnetic force and are adsorbed on the cylinder. Since the polarity of the magnetic pole is alternately arranged in the direction of the cylinder rotation, and is fixed at work, the magnetic group produces a magnetic stirring phenomenon when it rotates with the cylinder, and the non-magnetic objects loaded in the magnetic group are detached from it, and the magnetic group that remains on the surface of the cylinder is the concentrate.
The structure of wet PTMS magnetic separator is mainly composed of cylinder, roll, magnetic system, tank, transmission device, etc. The cylinder is generally welded with 2-3mm stainless steel sheet, the end cap is made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, and is fixed with stainless steel bolts.
