The PTMS magnetic separator cartridge is made of 2 to 4 mm thick stainless steel coil welding. If there is no protective layer (also called wear-resistant layer) on the surface of the barrel, it will wear through and cannot be used for a long time. It not only affects production but also increases equipment maintenance costs. In the process of using the magnetic separator, the magnetic source body is an important part of the selection of magnetic materials in the pulp.
On the surface of the magnetic source body, a cylinder made of stainless steel plate with a thickness of 3-4mm is installed, and the surface of the cylinder is coated with a wear-resistant layer of the protective cylinder body. When the wear-resistant layer of the magnetic separator shell surface is used for a long time, different degrees of wear will occur, and if it is not repaired in time, the shell surface will be worn through. The production of PTMS magnetic separator is seriously affected.
In the production operation, because the performance of PTMS magnetic separator is constant, the content of magnetic substances in the feed is generally not adjustable, so it reflects the field operation level, and because the grade in the concentrate meets the requirements, it has little impact on the performance efficiency. In the actual production, the two values of the unit volume of the tailings and the magnetic content in the tailings can be checked to quickly determine the effect of the magnetic separation process.
