Rare earth materials are used to strengthen the sweeping selection of tailings. PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR tube has a total average magnetic induction intensity of 200mT, and the sweeping strengthening area of tailings can reach 300mT. The average distance of 50mm from the cylinder surface is still more than 100mT.
The properties of MAGNETIC clusters or chains are different from those of individual ore particles and can affect subsequent sieving, grading and sorting operations of PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR. The following cases are analyzed: continuous magnetic separation operation, that is, there are one or several subsequent magnetic separation operations. The purpose of selection is to improve the grade of concentrate, and the magnetic group often contains gangue, biota or slime, the magnetic group does not open, these impurities are not selected out, is bound to affect the quality of concentrate.
Therefore, before each PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR is selected, a demagnetizer should be added for demagnetizing. When conditions do not permit, it is best to add at least one demagnetization operation before or between several selections. Of course, when the magnetic agglomeration is not obvious or the grade of the concentrate is not high, it is not necessary to demagnetize.
