Because the sorting process of the upper feed belt PTMS Electromagnetic Separator and spiral trough magnetic separator relies on flushing water to rinse and discharge non-magnetic minerals, only the non-magnetic minerals with low gravity can help the sorting process.
The particle size of the treated material is one of the most important factors affecting the magnetic separation process. The dry magnetic separation process of highly magnetic ores can be used to handle materials with particle sizes up to 120~150 mm. The wet magnetic separation process for highly magnetic ores and the dry and wet PTMS Electromagnetic Separator process for magnetic ores can be used to treat materials with particle sizes not exceeding 6 to 8 mm.
