Because the polarity of the magnetic poles is alternately arranged along the direction of the cylinder rotation, and is fixed when working, the "magnetic group" or "magnetic link" when rotating with the cylinder, due to the alternating magnetic poles, magnetic agitation phenomenon occurs, and non-magnetic minerals such as gangue that are included in the "magnetic group" or "magnetic link" fall off during the flip. The "MAGNETIC group" or "magnetic lotus" that is finally attracted to the surface of the PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR cylinder is the concentrate.
The concentrate is transferred with the PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR cylinder to the edge of the magnetic system where the magnetic force is weakest. It is discharged into the concentrate tank under the action of the flushing water from the discharge pipe. If it is a full magnetic roller, the discharge is carried out by a brush roller. Non-magnetic or weakly magnetic minerals are left in the slurry with the slurry discharge tank, that is, tailings.
