When scanning, the raw material contains more connective bodies and the magnetic properties are weaker, so the ore feed rate should be lower in order to improve the recovery rate; When dealing with fine particles, in order to facilitate the loose of ore particles, the frequency of vibration groove should be high and the amplitude should be small. The opposite is true when dealing with coarse grains.
The suitable conditions for the operation of PTMS Magnetic separator should be determined by experiments according to the properties of the ore and the requirements for the separation quality. When dealing with rare metal ores, raw materials should be kept dry and narrow grade feeding, which is conducive to the improvement of indicators. If wide grade feeding is used, the magnetic force of the size particles is quite different, and the selection of specific conditions is also difficult. Experience has proved that the more screening grades of raw particles, the better the indicators.
PTMS Magnetic separator divides the raw particles into three levels: 2(3) ~ 0.83 (20 mesh)mm,0.83~0.2(65 mesh)mm and 0.2 ~ 0mm. The results show that 10% higher than the ungraded ones, the water in the raw material makes the particles stick to each other, and the finer the particles, The more severe the degree of adhesion, so the moisture allowed at all levels of raw materials is not the same. Generally -3mm raw materials allow moisture not more than 1%, the finer the particles.
