Wet PTMS magnetic separator is mainly composed of six parts: cylinder, roller, brush roller, magnetic system, tank and transmission part. The cylinder consists of 2-3mm stainless steel coil welded into a cylinder, the end cover is cast aluminum parts or workpieces, and the cylinder is connected with stainless steel screws. The motor drives the cylinder, magnetic roller and brush roller to rotate through the reducer or the stepless speed regulating motor directly.
Note on the use of PTMS magnetic separator: The magnetic separator should be installed at the beginning of the conveyor transport system. Magnetic separators are usually designed to work in any existing retrofit conveyor system without the need to relocate major equipment. Magnetic separators can also be used in combination with metal detectors to provide complete peace of mind. This will ensure that any metal material embedded or trapped under the mine may have escaped the magnetic separator without passing through the metal detector.
Once the metal detector is triggered, the conveyor belt will stop and human intervention is necessary. If the granularity of the ore is relatively coarse, it indicates that the mineral is not fully dissociated, the separation of the monomer is not high, on the contrary, there are more connected bodies, that is, the magnetic particles and gangue are still a considerable part of the combination. Therefore, it is required that the PTMS magnetic separator must fully achieve monomer separation.
