Wet PTMS magnetic separator is mainly composed of cylinder, magnetic system and bottom. The cylinder is made of 2-3 mm stainless steel coil welded. The end cap of the cylinder is cast aluminum and connected to the cylinder with stainless steel screws. With stainless steel (copper) or aluminum cylinder, because these materials are non-magnetic materials, with better magnetic permeability, so that the magnetic line of force will not form magnetic short circuit and cylinder.

At the same time, it is conducive to the attachment of magnetic ore particles on the surface of the cylinder, strengthening the carrying effect of the cylinder on magnetic ore particles, and the cylinder is rotated by the motor.

Magnetic system is divided into three pole permanent magnetic system, also have four or multipole. The polarity of the magnetic poles is arranged alternately along the direction of rotation of the cylinder and fixed when working. When the magnetic particles are attracted to the surface of the cylinder and rotate together with the cylinder, the phenomenon of magnetic turnover (also known as magnetic stirring) is generated due to the polarity alternations, so that some of the non-magnetic particles in the wet PTMS magnetic separator are removed, which can improve the quality of the magnetic products.
