In the PTMS magnetic separator field, the magnetic particles are affected by the competitive force in addition to the magnetic force. Competitiveness can be defined as the combined force of all mechanical forces in the opposite direction of magnetic forces, including gravity, centrifugal force, inertial force, and hydrodynamic resistance. In the process of magnetic separation, the magnetic force is the force of trapping magnetic particles, also known as the magnetic trapping force; Competitiveness is the force that makes the magnetic particles out of the magnetic pole, also known as the detachment force.
Obviously, the necessary condition for the separation of magnetic particles from non-magnetic particles is that the PTMS magnetic separator of the magnetic particles is greater than the competitive force. If the two magnetically different particles are separated, the necessary condition is that the magnetic force of the stronger magnetic particles should be greater than the competitiveness, and the magnetic force of the weaker magnetic particles should be less than the competitiveness.
It should be noted that in the practice of PTMS magnetic separator, it is impossible to have absolutely pure magnetic products and non-magnetic products. Some monomer magnetic particles are mixed into non-magnetic products, and some monomer non-magnetic particles are mixed into magnetic products, in addition to the non-monomer dissociation of the connected body affecting the purity of the product.
